Dr. Johnson has over a decade of experience within the Yale community, including early research roles, a postgraduate fellowship and several years on clinical faculty as an advanced practice psychiatric nurse. She has evaluated and treated complex and treatment-resistant cases across child, adolescent and adult populations.
Dr. Johnson has also served as a sub-investigator on multiple industry-sponsored clinical trials involving tic disorders, OCD, depression, anxiety and school refusal, including early-phase studies of emerging treatments such as esketamine (Spravato) and ecopipam.
